Work you’ll do

The Deloitte Center for the Edge explores emerging disruptions and long-term shifts shaping the future of business, technology, and society. The Center complements Deloitte’s consulting practice by helping clients anticipate what’s next and turn uncertainty into advantage.

Recent initiatives include:
 
“Space to Thrive” – a report on Southeast Asia’s growing space economy and opportunities for public-private 
collaboration.
“Edges of Southeast Asia” –  spotlight on startups and breakthrough models transforming the region.
Workshops and Strategy labs – with C-suites, public agencies, and regional leaders on foresight, innovation, and digital transformation.

What you’ll do:
As an intern, you’ll support the team on live projects and internal research to support lead generation of consulting projects in emerging technology areas such as AI, space, quantum, among others. Areas include:

1. Research and Writing
• Conduct desktop research and synthesize insights on topics like emerging technologies, future of work, or
business model innovation in Southeast Asia
• Synthesise large amounts of data and information from primary and secondary research to develop accurate
conclusions
• Shape executive storytelling though drafting proposals, reports, trend briefings, demos, and digital content.
• Help create and manage research pipelines and data libraries

2. Workshops and Client Engagements
• Support the design, partner coordination, and logistics for client workshops, tech demos, and immersions.
• Develop presentation slides and workshop materials
• Observe and document key takeaways from client sessions

3. Program and Event Support
• Assist in planning and running events such as speaker series, internal training, and community roundtables.
• Liaise with external collaborators and help with event communications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is curious, self-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity
• A strong writer and communicator, with an eye for visual storytelling
• Is a student or recent graduate in business, public policy, tech, or related fields
• Has an interest in consulting and business development
• Familiarity with emerging technology areas in South East Asia, design thinking, and workflow automation tools
including n8n, Canva, Davinci Resolve, Figma and their equivalents would be an advantage
