Work you’ll do


  • Successful candidate will be reporting to the Southeast Asia Technology and Infrastructure leader.
  • This is a leadership role. The candidate needs to have the capability to build awareness of the business and transform business demands with technology to bring overall effectiveness in the business. 
  • He/she partners with the business to deliver technology enabled solutions.
  • He/she works with the relevant IT and Business stakeholders to execute the IT roadmap and directions in the country.
  • In the IT Operations, the candidate is responsible in leading, managing and developing the IT team to provide operational excellence to Deloitte business.
  • The candidate needs to be able to lead the teams to deliver the following:

a.    End-user computing: Provides stakeholders and other client representatives with information technology support services, including on-site user support, coordinates outreach efforts; reviews and institutes cost analysis studies, supports enhancement of business applications.

b.    Determines the maintenance and troubleshooting needs for services, negotiate contracts with vendors to provide services and oversee internal units that provide services.
c.    Network infrastructure: integrates and works with the regional network and monitoring team to comply to the standards and ensure the infrastructure works in the world class standard for the Business.
d.    Builds and maintains assets CMDB, including information retrieved from different assets information and auto discovery technology when available.
e.    Manage the IT setup for the events organized by the firm in the country.
f.    Information management : databases, information warehouses, Client confidentiality data, and legal aspect of Information Technology.
g.    IT vendors management


  • This role has extension to collaborate with the teams in the Centre of Excellence in Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific to deliver ideas and solutions in the region.
  • Collaborates with the regional IT in driving projects and initiatives of new technologies, operations support and compliance activities.
  • Collaborate with the regional’s Service Delivery team to implement IT best practices and ITIL based processes of Incident, Request and Change management.
  • Responsible for the Security compliance in the country, including policies and procedures implementation for ISO27001, ISO22301 and the Member Firm Standards, and ensure compliance are achieved.
  • Assures the integrity of information systems running in the country and ensure the compliance to the regional’s process.
  • Supports budget planning and forecasting. This include providing people and resources planning to ensure optimum team resources while achieving operational excellence target.
  • Willing to work extra miles in delivering services and outside office hours when required.

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in information technology or computer sciences
  • Good command in English, both verbal and written.
  • Broad understanding of both management and technical problems and solutions, with ability to implement most advanced solutions.
  • Thorough and broad knowledge in area of expertise, from underlying principles to highest level of implementation and ability to apply those skills.
  • Comprehensive information technology and management skills.
  • Familiar with Information Security aspect of technology.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill to liaise with local peers, the regional counterparts and business stakeholders in the country and regional
  • Experience in Financial & Professional Services Industries preferred
  • Experience in ITIL as best practice preferred
