What you will do 


This role is with Deloitte Digital Southeast Asia. Across all clients and sectors, we believe great customer experiences create greater impact. That elevating the human experience creates enduring value, for the organization, for the customer, for society, for all.
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager who will consult for Financial Services (Banking & Insurance) clients in the following areas:

  • Develop customer acquisition plans and marketing campaigns that encompass competitive assessment, testing strategy, creative positioning, integration into partner digital channels, and leveraging emerging media options (Programmatic Display, PPC, Video, Social, etc.) to deliver against business goals & agreed KPI/Outcomes
  • Partner closely with key stakeholders in the Financial Services & Insurance sector (Marketing, Analytics, Research, Products, Technology etc.) to build effective marketing plans, launch key initiatives and track key performance indicators.
  • Co-lead digital media initiatives such as Email Marketing, Display, Social, Affiliates, etc. 
  • Lead a team to implement Campaigns to maximize segment/channel opportunities:
    • Leads Management & Funnel Marketing including drop-off re-marketing & win-back
    •  Oversee and manage the Customer Acquisition & Engagement Funnel
    • Leverages analytics tools to understand drop-off points throughout the conversion funnel and develop initiatives to improve performance
    • Runs campaigns for Online/Mobile Banking signup, activation, usage, MAU/DAU initiatives
    • Leverages Customer Engagement & Communication Assets
  • Enable client to establish a robust marketing governance framework
  • Work closely with client’s business units to promote cross channel pollination, optimize existing customer experience and identify profit opportunities.

If you are someone with: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least a few years of experience gained in Retail Banking / Insurance marketing
  • Good working knowledge of retail banking (wealth, loans, cards etc) and insurance (life/general)
  • Hands-on experience with channel marketing (digital/physical) in finance/banking/insurance sector 
    • NTB Acquisition Marketing (any of Cards, Loans, Deposits, Mortgages, Wealth, SME etc.)
    • ETB Engagement and Cross-sell campaigns on digital channels
  • Experience in a bank or insurance company or in a FSI client-facing role (e.g. consulting, agency) with track record in conceptualizing, developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Proven skills in Marketing Planning & Strategy Development, and Media Mix Planning – knows how to use Paid Media, Owned Media and Earned Media
  • Has experience in building repeatable campaigns (adhoc, seasonal, always-on) for FSI customers
  • Leveraged external agencies to deliver outstanding campaigns
  • Managed Budgets and optimizes marketing dollars with repeatable campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights, to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
