Work you’ll do

You will be part of the Marketing & Communications team that supports Deloitte in Singapore and Southeast Asia in all aspects of external communications including:

Supporting Deloitte leaders and internal stakeholders in Singapore and across Southeast Asia to identify, plan and execute media activities in line with the organisation’s strategic business plans and key messaging. The team’s goal is to build and maintain Deloitte’s brand eminence and to safeguard the organisation’s reputation through media engagement and relationships. 


Social media
Supporting Deloitte leaders and internal stakeholders in Singapore and across Southeast Asia to identify, plan and execute online content strategy in line with the organisation’s strategic business plans. The team’s goal is to assist businesses in reaching out to clients as well as raise Deloitte’s eminence as an employer of choice through social media and digital marketing efforts. This role will also present opportunities for you to work on projects as part of the wider Marketing & Communications team, outside of the social media scope. 

Reporting to the Communications Leader, the candidate will be involved in the following:

•    Regular engagement with members of the media including facilitating media interviews
•    Drafting/editing press releases, media pitches, media responses, speeches and other external communication materials
•    Managing requests for media activities from internal stakeholders
•    Daily media monitoring and reporting 
•    Any other duties as assigned

Social media
•    Developing social media campaigns 
•    Managing requests for social media posts 
•    Vetting/reviewing of social media posts
•    Community management of the different social media channels 
•    Tracking and monitoring of daily social media engagement/activities (for example comments and DMs) 
•    Analysing campaigns and/or posts performance 
•    Planning and running paid digital advertisements
•    Any other duties as assigned

•    A recognised University degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or a related discipline
•    At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a media relations, social media management and/or external communications capacity
•    Sharp writing skills, and the ability to edit concisely and accurately
•    Maturity and keen understanding of nuance and sensitivity related to branding and reputation management
•    Exhibit confidence and comfort in engaging with Deloitte senior leadership and members of the media (journalists/editors)
•    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders, internal clients and team
•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently 
•    Self-starter, capable of working independently, and proactive 
•    Demonstrates personal accountability for keeping own performance on track
•    Is a good team player who can work effectively in diverse teams within a highly inclusive team culture
•    Demonstrate strong commitment to personal learning and development
•    Meticulous, with an attention to detail
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
