PMO Manager

JOB PURPOSE

PMO Manager’s primary function is focusing on the project management office activities of all the projects in the Risk Advisory business unit.

Analysing and reviewing project at appropriate stage, adhering to the governance guidelines, provide appropriate advice and guidelines to the project manager when required.

Periodically reviewing internal project management processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvements and refinements, develop or refine the project management processes whenever needed.

RESPONSIBILITIIES

• Establishing and maintaining the governance guidelines for projects execution
• Defining clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities that align with business unit’s practices
• Refining frameworks and methodologies for project management process to be comprehensive and consistent across different initiatives
• Facilitating stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interests
• Validating independent evidence and valid information from projects on achieving their objectives
• Ensuring project implementation process adherence to governance guidelines
• Periodically reviewing project management processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement and recommend implementation
• Developing appropriate materials to train and coach Project Managers to ensure understanding of processes and governance and to establish expectations
• Identifying and supporting all projects’ issues and risks.
• Analysing project and resources healthiness and identify potential risk for deep dive analysis whenever needed. Documenting review and analysis detail to contribute to PMO’s reporting

REQUIREMENTS

• PMP / Prince2 certified
• Degree in Information Technology /Computer
• 15+ years of relevant Project Management working experience
• Previous experience in Project Implementation or Consulting would be a plus
