Job Responsibilities

Deloitte Restructuring Services provides in-depth business and financial advisory services to senior and c-suite management, financiers and investors in the areas of debt advisory, turnaround, restructuring and business recovery. Our main areas of expertise include debt advisory and restructuring, performance improvement, portfolio advisory, and business recovery services such as scheme administrations, judicial management, receivership and liquidation.
 
The DAR team focuses on advising clients on debt and capital issues across the credit spectrum including advising on their funding and/or restructuring requirements. The DAR team also focuses on large and complex transactions with debt amounts of c.US$100 million and above. DAR advises and assists clients on the review of their business and financial position, the review of strategic options, the development of the optimal strategy, and the implementation and completion of the transaction.
 
In this client facing role you will be working in teams supporting Managers, Directors and Partners on project planning and delivery.

Successful applicants will have excellent business review, financial analysis and modeling, research, presentation, communication, interpersonal, organization and coordination skills, a pro-active and results driven approach, and ability to work independently under pressure.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related analytical field

  • At least two years of relevant experience

  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Inquisitive nature and willing to learn independently

  • Team player, willing to collaborate and take the initiative to propose solutions

  • Comfortable in face of fast-paced, uncertain and/or ambiguous situations

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation applications like Tableau, PowerBI and Python are not essential but will be viewed favourably

  • Willing to travel to other Southeast Asia and international locations on assignments
