Work you will do

Cloud is transforming the way technology enables the business. It represents a radical shift in how IT services are obtained, used, and managed. Companies are navigating through the various cloud options and deciding between private, public, or a combination across different and dynamic provider ecosystems. Our cloud specialists guide our clients through multi-year journeys from the case for change through implementation across all dimensions of cloud - business alignment, technology architecture and design, cloud application on-boarding, and transforming their operating model – to help solve our client’s most complex issues with the focus on value creation.

Our practitioners work collaboratively within integrated, cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive strategies that enable Cloud and Infrastructure transformations. Teamwork is crucial as teams are composed of a diverse group of specialists across multiple disciplines from both within our consulting practice and from our clients, helping drive towards a successful outcome.  Our practitioners are expected to own and deliver their respective deliverables while managing different clients and other stakeholders.

You’ll work alongside our clients to help them achieve success in the Cloud, with reference to the following areas:

• Assisting the team in creating a strategy for how their organisations can exploit the Cloud, create a business case, design a Cloud architecture and put in place governance and policies to manage the new world.
• Architect the migration approach. Think about which of their existing on-premise applications to migrate to the Cloud, which applications should be re-built using Cloud native technologies and which should be bought from Cloud SaaS providers.
• Re-imagine ways of working. Engage the entire businesses to re-imagine the way work gets done and how new products and services are brought to market, all enabled by Cloud technologies.
• Innovate in delivery. Embrace new agile ways of working, enabled by new Cloud tools, to deliver your Cloud solutions.
• Integrate. Consider how to integrate the Cloud into their enterprise through infrastructure and networking solutions to connect, optimise, and manage Cloud solutions across a wide choice of platforms.
• Managed services. Ensure their use of the Cloud is secure, resilient, compliant, cost effective, and properly service managed, consider the use of a Cloud Managed Service Provider.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

If you are someone with:

• Tertiary qualification in a technology or engineering discipline with a well ranked institution and/or currently enrolled in a MBA program.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cloud transformation.
• Ability to deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large organisations, preferably in public sector.
• You are people minded, nimble and sensitive to your environment, fascinated by the public sector, relish industry trends and market dynamics.
• Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources.
• Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
• Ability to build consensus and foster change in ambiguous settings.
• Commitment to professional excellence, as well as personal and professional growth.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a prerequisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
• Willingness to work outside of office base.
