Executive -Tax & Legal-Business Strategy and Operations

As a member of our Tax & Legal Business, Strategy & Operations team, you will assist the Business Operations Manager in offering a wide range of support tasks in order to ensure quality and value-adding services for our business leaders, partners, professionals, consultants, and external clients. 

 

As part of the Business Strategy & Operations role, you will play an integral part in the Tax & Legal Business, collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders to develop and execute impactful analysis and strategies, as well as gaining first-hand feedback on the progress of the implementation of your insights as you dive into the specific key work processes within our Tax & Legal Business involving office organization, operational processes, and project management.

 

Suitable candidates for this position should enjoy and be experienced in interacting with multiple stakeholders, possessing an adaptive communication style to ensure open, professional and friendly synergy at all levels in the Tax & Legal Business. Prior relevant and recent experience in a business support/operations role in a fast-paced corporate environment will be highly regarded.

 

Key Responsibilities

•    Assist in monthly review of financial results, including revenue, expenses and other key financial metrics, providing analysis and insights

•    Prepare and design presentation slides with insights, key metrics, trends and detailed figures for reporting purposes

•    Assist in the preparation of tax service line level and country level forecast, track KPIs, highlight variances, and track follow-up actions on a monthly basis

•    Process monthly forecast detailed reports and plans and to provide report analysis within tax services lines across different countries within the SEA region

•    Participate in cross-team and cross-function projects from ideation to strategy definition until implementation

•    Understand and evaluate the business operation processes, provide feedbacks and suggestions for improvement, and share best practices

•    Interact with country and service line leaders, internal and external stakeholders on obtaining feedback and management of internal controls and operational processes
•    Assist in monthly closing activities and track follow up actions

•    Provide support for urgent ad-hoc tasks

•    Ensure proper documentation and housekeeping
•    May be involved in organizing events, projects/conferences in line with the business needs

•    Any other tasks that may be assigned by team leaders

 

 

Requirements
•    Diploma/Degree in Business Management/Accountancy/Commerce and/or related fields 

•    Extremely detail-oriented and able to work with time-sensitive and confidential information
•    At least 2-3 years in a business support/operations role in similar setting
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Excel & Power Point
•    Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen
•    Strategic thinker who is able to drive & deliver insights
•    Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced team environment with pressuring goals

•    A team player who works with various stakeholders to achieve a shared objective
