We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking professional to join our team as the Strategy and Transformation Lead for Asia Pacific Financial Advisory (AP FA). This role could be at the Senior Manager / Associate Director / Director level, depending on candidate. You will actively contribute to transformative and strategic initiatives within Asia Pacific Financial Advisory. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping our strategic direction, driving priority AP programs, and propelling growth through innovative strategies and programs.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive financial advisory strategy. Assist in defining long-term objectives and identifying strategic avenues for growth and sustained success.
  • Develop program strategies and workplans for cross-AP initiatives.
  • Launch and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth, integration, transformation, brand and purpose, including proactive program management and progress tracking (e.g., developing and monitoring KPIs, identifying areas for improvement, etc.).
  • Drive, monitor and track progress of key initiatives and ensuring projects are executed effectively and deliver the desired outcomes.
  • Forge cross-functional connections with AP FA Service Lines and functional leadership teams to ensure alignment of strategies and effective execution of initiatives. Foster a collaborative environment to drive collective achievement.
  • Work closely with the AP FA core team to reinforce strategic priorities through impactful leadership communications, townhalls, and leadership meetings. Work with key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of goals.
  • Engage with AP FA, AP Member Firm (green dot), and Global FA leaders to make sure strategies and programs are aligned with MF and global initiatives.
  • Utilize market research and analysis to identify evolving industry trends, competitive forces, and emerging opportunities across the AP region. Contribute insights to shape the FA approach and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work alongside the AP FA growth team to orchestrate impactful market campaigns, leveraging your strategic insights to drive significant outcomes.
  • Assist the AP FA COO in advancing the transformation agenda, track budget allocations and measure KPIs on strategic initiatives, including supporting and overseeing the strategic priorities.
  • Monitor Jupiter to facilitate pursuits and pipeline management, contributing to the overarching growth strategy.

Requirements

 

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience
  • Extensive experience in strategic planning, business transformation, consulting / financial advisory, coupled with understanding of Asia Pacific industry trends and markets.
  • Track record of contributing to successful transformation initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management and adeptness in change management methodologies.
  • Visionary thinker with the ability to anticipate industry shifts and catalyze innovation.
  • Collaborative team player with adeptness in cross-functional interaction across geographies and experience / comfort working with a virtual / remote team.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and independence, both within virtual teams and autonomously.
  • Capacity to navigate ambiguity, readily embrace new challenges in response to market dynamics, and firm priorities.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
