Work you’ll do


The Business Development team supports management in identifying and executing business development activities in line with the practice's strategic business plans. The team’s goal is to assist partners in targeting, winning and retaining strategic clients through client targeting programs; active account management and delivering outstanding client service.  We are seeking a new Senior Executive/Assistant Manager for this team, reporting into the Business Development Director for Southeast Asia. This is a highly visible and strategic role with excellent growth and development opportunities. 

The team undertakes a range of activities focused on client acquisition and growing client relationships, which includes:
•    Development and implementation of strategic client programs
•    Coordinating and supporting the firm’s pursuit activities
•    Implementation of global and regional client initiatives
•    Proposal advisory and support for strategic clients acquisition
•    Client and market research and analysis
•    Other client-related projects

Reporting into the Business Development Director, this new position takes a key management role for our strategic client portfolio and provides day-to-day assistance to client-facing professionals. Key responsibilities of the role will include: actively supporting the client service planning process; assisting partners in their management of key clients; facilitating client service team meetings; monitoring and measuring performance on our key strategic programs; overseeing the ongoing development of our market-facing partners. Note this is a back office role, not a sales (client-facing) role.

•    A recognized University degree in marketing, business, commerce, economics or a related discipline
•    4-8 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a professional services environment
•    Experience in professional services business development is preferred
•    Confidence to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with senior management
•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively as part of a team
•    Strategic mindset and understanding of marketing, targeting, account management and pitching
•    Knowledge of the SG/ASEAN corporate landscapes 
•    Good knowledge of research tools for analysis and a general understanding of database technology   
•    Proficient in Microsoft office tools
