Deloitte Financial Services Tax Team
Our team comprises professionals with extensive experience from top professional practices and in-house roles, both in Singapore and internationally. We support a diverse client base across Banking & Capital Markets, Investment Management, Real Estate, Insurance, and innovative sectors such as Digital Assets.
At Deloitte, you’ll be at the forefront of high-impact regional and global engagements, tackling complex cross-border projects and some of the most advanced financial services tax challenges. Our team supports clients throughout the entire tax lifecycle, from ad hoc advisory and transaction structuring to tax due diligence, compliance, global information reporting, and dispute resolution. The Opportunity / Work you’ll do
As an Assistant Manager, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams in the planning and execution of corporate tax engagements.
- Build and manage trusted client relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored tax solutions that support business growth.
- Supervise the preparation and review of tax computations and filings.
- Lead tax workstreams in M&A transactions (including due diligence, structuring, tax modelling, and SPA support).
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including resource planning, risk identification, and issue resolution.
- Manage a client portfolio, delivering both routine and complex solutions with support from colleagues in Singapore and internationally.
- Prepare proposals and presentations, and assist with business development initiatives.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, professional services aligned with Deloitte standards.
- Act as a role model, participating in and fostering an inclusive team environment.

What We Look For / Requirements
- At least 5 years of Singapore corporate tax experience, ideally with an international accounting firm, law firm, or financial institution, covering both compliance and advisory work.
- Deep expertise in one or more financial services sectors: banking, capital markets, investment management, real estate, insurance, or digital assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field; professional qualification recognised by ISCA (CPA, ACCA, or similar); SCTP accreditation is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior staff.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of clients and projects, build trusted client relationships, and deliver high-quality work.
- Proven business development skills, with a practical, commercial approach to technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Collaborative, proactive mindset with strong team skills.
