About the Team

Join Deloitte’s rapidly expanding Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice, where you’ll help shape the future of tax in an increasingly digital world. Our TTC team provides tailored advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients - including both domestic businesses and multinationals - looking to navigate complex tax and regulatory environments and leverage cutting-edge technology to transform their operations.

How You will Contribute

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end ERP (SAP/Oracle) and tax technology solutions. You will work alongside a team of dedicated ERP and OneSource/Vertex implementation specialists, collaborating with colleagues across Southeast Asia who are experts in tax compliance, indirect tax engines, and tax automation.

You will:

• Drive successful project implementations by delivering best-in-class compliance and customs solutions, including project management, change management, solution design, implementation, and end-user support & training.
• Help define and model business processes, assess feasibility with respect to ERP products and legal requirements, and guide teams to configure software to meet business and reporting needs.
• Play a lead or functional role in at least two full-lifecycle ERP implementations, integrating tax bolt-on solutions (e.g., Vertex, OneSource Indirect Tax) and supporting tax automation initiatives.
• Participate in the development and growth of our TTC practice globally, expanding your expertise and building your consulting skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in ERP (SAP/Oracle) project implementation or similar projects, with solid knowledge of ERP solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Microsoft is an advantage.
• Experience integrating tax bolt-on solutions with ERP systems (e.g., Vertex, OneSource Indirect Tax).
• Experience as a technical or functional lead on at least two full-lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Familiarity with SAP modules (e.g., DRC, ABAP) is an asset.
• Experience with tax technology tools such as tax compliance tools, indirect tax engines, or pillar two solutions is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft applications (Power BI, Power Query, etc.) and other tools (Alteryx, workflow) will be an advantage.
• Strong software skills in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio.
• Previous consulting or client-facing experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
