Our Financial Services Tax team has been growing as a direct result of positive market impact. Our team continues to go from strength to strength, and opportunities exist for likeminded people to contribute to the next stage of the practice’s growth.

Our team is diverse and comprises tax advisors, accountants, lawyers and economists. Team members have broad experience from professional practices and in-house roles, both in Singapore and from wider afield. We strive to learn from each other and leverage our respective skills and experiences.

We support financial services stakeholders across all subsectors, including Banking and Capital Markets, Investment Management, Real Estate and Insurance. We also have a strong specialism in the emerging Digital Assets and Web 3.0 spaces.

Our team helps clients across the entire tax lifecycle, including: ad hoc advisory assistance; fund, financing and transaction structuring; tax due diligence; tax compliance; global information reporting; and, assisting with tax disputes. We often lead the delivery of regional and global engagements from Singapore.

Deloitte Singapore is looking to hire financial services tax Associates and Senior Associates to join our dynamic and market disrupting Financial Services Tax practice.

We are looking for people who are prepared to invest in the growth of the practice and also their own development. Internal and external training opportunities will be provided as your role develops.

You will be exposed to a broad range of work and will also interact directly with a range of clients. We are looking to fill tax advisory roles and tax compliance roles. Roles combining those two specialisms will be considered depending upon your skills and aspirations.

Work you’ll do

Responsibilities might include some of the following: assisting with tax research and supporting the provision of advice on tax technical matters; assisting with the preparation of tax advice and/or tax computations/filings; preparation of proposals and presentations; and, assisting with business development – in each case vis-à-vis one or more of the subsectors mentioned below.

Requirements

You will have a tax and finance, legal or accounting background and will have obtained a university degree in one of those areas.
