The Opportunity / Work you’ll do

As an Assistant Manager, you will:

• Provide GST advisory and compliance services to clients, especially in the financial services industry.
• Manage a diverse client portfolio, from routine compliance to complex cross-border transactions.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical development and professional growth.
• Advise clients on tax law changes, support during audits, and liaise with tax authorities.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for process improvement and business development.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Deloitte to deliver integrated solutions.

What We’re Looking For / Requirements

• At least 5 years of Singapore GST advisory experience within an international accounting firm, in-house tax team, legal or IRAS.
• Prior financial services GST experience is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field.
• Studying towards an SCTP accreditation or is already a Chartered Tax Adviser.
• Excellent client-facing, relationship-building, and business development skills.
• Strong technical, organisational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Team player, deadline-focused, and proactive.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to high-quality client service.
