Work you’ll do

 

As a Treasury Advisory Consultant, you will work on a variety of projects, ranging from treasury reviews and bank relationship management to broader strategic transformations. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with industry-specific treasury operations.

 

  • Assist project teams or operate independently on treasury-related engagements for clients.

  • Work on projects including but not limited to:

    • Treasury transformation

    • Treasury operating model design

    • Treasury audits

    • M&A treasury due diligence

    • Treasury policy development

    • Liquidity and working capital management

    • Foreign exchange risk management

    • Debt financing strategies

    • Bank and system selection (RFI/RFP structuring)

  • Conduct risk assessments, identify issues, and develop tailored solutions for clients.

  • Engage with client executives and external stakeholders, including banking professionals and system vendors, to gather project insights.

  • Apply critical and analytical thinking to solve moderately complex treasury challenges.

  • Support business development activities, including:

    • Preparing and coordinating presentation materials

    • Assisting with client meetings and presentations

    • Developing tools and methodologies for advisory services

  • Prioritize objectives and contribute to project planning, status reporting, and solution delivery.

  • Foster collaboration across Deloitte’s various practice areas.

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects aligned with strategic business objectives.

  • Utilize internal knowledge networks to extract and apply relevant insights.

  • Contribute to Deloitte’s global knowledge base by documenting lessons learned and best practices.

  • Support business growth through proposal development and sales efforts.

Requirements

 

  • 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or process reviews.

  • Have a strong interest to develop knowledge and skillsets in corporate treasury and replicate concepts learn through past experiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; outstanding academic credentials and business acumen preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation development.

  • Experience in using treasury management systems (TMS) such as Kyriba, Wall Street, SAP Treasury, Reval, or FIS is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently with a process-oriented mindset.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to develop and present innovative ideas and solutions.

  • Proven analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, CTP, or ACT (completed or in progress) are desirable.
