This role is with Deloitte Digital Southeast Asia, which is a part of Deloitte that uses technology and creativity to better connect the customer with the business. As part of Customer Strategy & Design (CS&D), you will work with team to help our clients with their Brand Experiences, Products and Services, Innovation Strategies, Digital Venturing and Customer Experiences, bridging Business and Customer strategies by design. We help clients connect People, Product, Purpose and Profit through the use of strategy, design and technology.

 

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead and grow our practice, focused on Financial Services Industry (FSI) clients, majoring in Tech. The role involves:

 

Practice Leadership & Growth

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing consulting team focused on FSI digital transformation (tech)
  • Define and drive the practice vision across digital platform innovation and transformation delivery
  • Develop repeatable offerings, frameworks, and accelerators tailored to banking, insurance, and wealth management

 

Sales & Go-To-Market

  • Own and drive revenue targets for the FSI consulting practice\
  • Lead strategic client engagements, including C-level relationship across banks, insurers, and fintechs
  • Shape GTM strategy, including industry positioning, thought leadership, and key account planning
  • Partner with alliances and technology partners to co-create market opportunities

 

Presales & Solutioning

  • Lead complex deal pursuits, including proposal strategy, solution design, and commercial structuring
  • Translate client business challenges into scalable digital, data, and CX-led transformation solutions
  • Bring strong domain perspective on FSI technology architecture, platforms, and regulatory considerations

 

Delivery Leadership

  • Oversee delivery of large-scale transformation programs, including roadmap definition, PMO governance, and value realization
  • Ensure quality, profitability, and client satisfaction across engagements

Requirements: 

 

  • >15 years of experience in tech consulting, with significant exposure to FSI (banking, insurance, or wealth management)
  • Proven track record in selling and delivering digital transformation programs
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Digital product innovation (e.g. mobile, web, ecosystems)
    • Transformation roadmaps and PMO governance
    • Deep understanding of FSI technology landscape, including:
      • Digital channels and platforms
      • Marketing technology 
      • Data, AI, and personalization
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams (strategy, design, technology, data)
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to own revenue and margins
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with exposure to C-suite clients
  • Ability to translate business problems into scalable technology solutions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building new capabilities
