It is important that these changes are designed, planned and implemented effectively such that the project’s legacy is efficient, automated and scalable solutions that free and support staff in adding business value and generating insights.

Your role as a leader:

Additionally, Associates / Analysts / Consultants across our Firm are expected to:

• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data platforms on Azure and Databricks, covering storage, compute, security, and governance.
• Design and manage curated data layers and analytical datasets to support reporting, self-service BI, and advanced analytics use cases.
• Build, maintain, and monitor scalable batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Azure services such as ADF and Synapse.
• Develop reusable, version-controlled Databricks notebooks and workflows, implementing robust data transformation, cleansing, and validation logic.
• Establish and enforce data quality, lineage, security, and governance practices across the Databricks platform, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders) to align solutions with business objectives and drive continuous improvement
• Establish data quality, lineage, and governance practices across the Databricks platform.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and data scientists to deliver analytical datasets.
• Undegrading of DevOps practices such as CI/CD automation and version control to streamline deployment and management of Databricks workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder and pre-sales skills: translating requirements into architectures and leading solution design.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10-12 years of experience
• Possess 8+ years in solution, architecting, design and development experience in enterprise/ architecture projects in Azure / Databricks
• Experienced in managing full development lifecycle phases, designing enterprise software and defining solution architectures and technology
• Designing and integrating applications and SaaS solutions using technology stacks and cloud service providers, such as Microsoft (e.g. Azure, power BI,Tableau),
• BI service support components (e.g. Data warehouse, extract-transform-load processes, databases)
• Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Hadoop Exposure
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and collaboration skills. Good relationship building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of the customer.
• Good command over verbal and written English
• Strong Azure cloud and data services design (ADLS, networking, security, Synapse, Key Vault)
• Deep Databricks lakehouse expertise (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark performance tuning)
• Advanced data engineering with Spark and Azure-native orchestration (ADF/Synapse pipelines).
• E2E integration experience (Hybrid cloud model)
• Robust data governance, security, and compliance design, especially for regulated industries.
• Proven experience migrating legacy platforms to Azure Databricks with proper CI/CD and cost control.

   

  Good to Have: 

• Continued learning certifications, at least one of the following: Microsoft Azure Solutions or Databricks.
• Cloud [Software] Systems Engineer, Customer Solutions Engineer [Cloud / Data, Analytics/AI] or combination of experience as DevOps Engineer, Data Architect, Cloud/SaaS Software Developer
