Work you will do

As a Senior Cloud Security Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in cloud environments. You will simulate real-world attacks, document findings, and provide recommendations to enhance cloud security. This role requires staying updated on the latest cloud security trends and collaborating with other cybersecurity professionals to develop comprehensive security strategies.

• Conduct security assessments on cloud-based systems, networks, and applications.
• Simulate cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
• Perform penetration testing on cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Develop and execute cloud-specific penetration testing methodologies.
• Prepare detailed reports on the findings of penetration tests.
• Recommend and implement improvements to cloud security policies.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud security tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure secure cloud deployments.
• Provide guidance and training on cloud security best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Penetration Tester with a focus on cloud security
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in penetration testing, with a focus on cloud environments
• Proficiency in using automated tools and manual testing techniques for cloud security
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CCSK, AWS Security Speciality, AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud security engineer) are a plus. Foundational cloud certifications like AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate etc. are great to have as well
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and produce content to tight timelines
• Ability to self-manage, prioritizing a variety of tasks
