Work you’ll do

You will play a key role in leading the implementation and execution of all talent related initiatives of the Tax & Legal Function. You will be working closely with the Tax & Legal Talent Partner, business leaders and Country HR leaders.

 

The key responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Working on initiatives to attract, recruit, develop, engage and retain talents to support accomplishment of the Tax & Legal Function’s objectives, covering areas including talent needs gathering, sourcing and selection; orientation and on-boarding, performance management support, team building, retention, employee engagement and administer/manage all the Talent Initiatives of the Tax & Legal Function
  • Project Management: lead and manage the delivery of various talent engagement initiatives planned in the Talent Strategy
  • Program Implementation: Play a key role in the delivery and optimization of programs planned in the Talent Strategy
  • Stakeholder/Relationship Management: Work closely with Tax & Legal Talent Partner, engage with business leaders, subject matter experts and key HR contacts within the global Deloitte network
  • Vendor Relations: When required, with subject matter experts’ input, evaluate and select appropriate vendors as needed and team with them to ensure successful implementation of programs
  • Change Management: drive and manage change across the business unit as talent programs are implemented
  • Process improvements: Work closely with Talent Partner to continuously review, recommend and share good practices across SEA

Requirements:

 

  • A Bachelor degree
  • 4 to 6 years of related project management experience in implementation of talent initiatives. Those with prior Big 4 Accounting firm experience, especially those that were previously a professional staff but would like a change in role will be considered favourably.
  • Good understanding of talent trends and best practices
  • Ability to build relationships with all levels with good influencing skills
  • High energy, ability to engage and connect with young talents
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven track records of leading and delivering key HR/talent projects
