Job Description

As a Microsoft Security Manager, you will play a key leadership role in building and growing Deloitte’s Microsoft Security capability across the South-East Asia (SEA) market. You will be in the front lines with our clients, helping them strengthen cyber resilience through Microsoft technologies while also driving business development, delivery excellence, and team growth.

This role combines client advisory, large-scale transformation delivery, capability building, and go-to-market leadership.

Depending on your experience and interests, you will have opportunities across a broad range of Microsoft Security domains including Microsoft 365, Identity, Endpoint, Data Security, SIEM/SOAR, and Cloud Security. The role includes the following requirements:

  • Lead the development and growth of Deloitte’s Microsoft Security capability, including service offerings, accelerators, methodologies, and market positioning.
  • Build pipeline and originate opportunities by working closely with clients, account teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive pursuits, proposals, solutioning, commercial discussions, and client presentations for Microsoft Security opportunities.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Security transformation projects, ensuring quality, timelines, budget, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Advise clients on Microsoft security strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead design and implementation of Identity and Access Management solutions leveraging Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), MFA, and Zero Trust principles.
  • Lead implementation of Endpoint Security solutions including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, device compliance, and mobile device management.
  • Support clients in Security Operations transformation using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, incident response automation, and threat detection use cases.
  • Lead Data Security and Compliance initiatives using Microsoft Purview including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, and Records Management.
  • Advise and implement Cloud Security solutions across Azure including Defender for Cloud, posture management, workload protection, and secure landing zones.
  • Define and develop Microsoft security architecture frameworks, reference architectures, governance standards, and implementation blueprints.
    Build and mentor a high-performing team of consultants and managers through coaching, training, and career development.
  • Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders including CIO, CISO, Head of Infrastructure, and Risk leaders.
  • Stay current on emerging cyber threats, Microsoft product roadmap, and market trends to continuously enhance Deloitte offerings.

Requirements:

 

If you are someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in information security, information systems management, computer science, engineering, or other related discipline.
  • Must have: Strong passion and interest in Microsoft Security technologies, client leadership, and building high-growth consulting practices.
  • 8+ years of IT / Cybersecurity experience with at least 4+ years in Microsoft Security, Cyber Consulting, or related transformation roles.
  • Proven experience delivering or leading projects in at least three of the following areas: Entra ID, Intune, Defender suite, Sentinel, Purview, Azure Security, Zero Trust.
  • Strong business development experience including pipeline creation, proposal management, pursuits, and revenue ownership.
  • Experience managing teams, developing talent, and leading multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Experience engaging C-level stakeholders and translating business needs into security solutions.
  • Microsoft certifications are highly preferred (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, MS-102).
  • Broader certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, or PMP would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory expectations in sectors such as Financial Services, , or Technology is a plus.
