Work you’ll do

(a) Monthly reporting

  • Preparation & submission of monthly journals.
  • Review the PL and BS GLs line by line and perform the necessary adjustments to ensure the GLs posted are for both group reporting and statutory reporting.
  • Review the monthly journals prepared by team members.
  • Preparation & submission of monthly group report and analysis.
  • Prepare the monthly manual statutory management account.
  • Facilitate the communication with other team members to ensure the payroll from HR Team, and interfirm accruals are meeting the earlier billable WBS deadline.
  • Provide guidance to team members on the different accounting posting to ensure accurate posting.

 

(b) Monthly billings

  • Review of the blocked headcount billing workings to ensure the interfirm invoices are correctly issued on timely basis.
  • Review and approve invoices.
  • Provide guidance to team member on billings and resolve issues (i.e. missing or incorrect billing information from BU, error in invoices and postings, issue with the GFS team on the billing raising process flow, invoice rejection).

 

(c) Audit

  • Preparation of information requested by auditors.
  • Review the audited financial statement.
  • Review MBRS report for SSM filling and ensure timely submission.

 

(d) Tax

  • Preparation of information requested by tax agent.
  • Review of annual tax computation for tax filling purposes.
  • Preparation of tax estimation for CP204 and CP204A.

 

(e) SST

  • Preparation of the bi-monthly SST report and filling at custom website.

 

(f) Other reporting

  • Preparation of the monthly manual management account for Business Unit.
  • Preparation & submission of monthly cash flow report.
  • Preparation & submission of quarterly balance sheet review.
  • Preparation & submission of quarterly Global Real Estate reporting.
  • Preparation of data for the Annual Plan.
  • Preparation & submission of MDEC reporting.

 

(g) Opportunity Dummy ID/ Cost centres/ WBS maintenance

  • Create new Opportunity Dummy ID, new cost centres, new GAAS code or update of GAAS code when necessary.
  • Perform cleaning up and closure of the cost centres/WBS codes with no headcount to prevent incorrect posting into these cost centres/WBS codes.

 

(h) Other matter

  • Liaise with insurance agent for the annual renewal.
  • Perform stamping for the Interfirm Master Service Agreements.
  • Liaise with Legal for new Interfirm Master Service Agreements/ addendum.
  • Update of rate card computation.
  • Ad hoc matters.

Requirements

  • A recognized Degree in Finance & Accounting or related professional qualifications.
  • Minimum 6 years if working experience in relevant field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting tools / applications.
  • Detail orientated and comfortable with working with high volume of data
  • Strong communication & analytical skill
  • Fluency in English
  • A good team player
