Work you’ll do

 

Deloitte is growing its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Infrastructure & Real Estate (I&RE) practice in Southeast Asia. We provide strategy, financial advisory, and program and project management services to public and private sector clients on infrastructure projects, including those that have private sector participation such as Public-Private Partnerships. Our projects range across a variety of industries, such as social infrastructure, transport, waste, energy and renewables, utilities, industrial plant, telecommunication, and urban infrastructure.

 

We provide a comprehensive range of business case development services, including potential value capture, financial modelling, economic assessment, transaction structuring, debt & capital advisory, infrastructure financing, procurement advisory for both public and private/bid side, and refinancing/asset recycling.

 

You will work alongside our clients to bring a rigorous, evidence based analytical capability to help them solve pressing and complex issues. This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving change, identifying opportunities and develop solutions across the whole organization


The nature of the work we do includes: 

  • Stakeholder Management: Oversee infrastructure advisory projects, lead complex analyses, and serve as a key client liaison, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Project Delivery: Manage multiple engagements efficiently, ensuring seamless execution, resource allocation, and adherence to ethical, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contribute to proposals, and engage potential clients to expand market presence.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop consultants, fostering a high-performance culture and integrating global best practices into engagements.
  • Quality & Risk Management: Uphold high standards in project execution, ensuring quality control, risk mitigation, and compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Possesses at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Business Law, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university. A relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance, Economics, or Infrastructure Development) and/or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA) are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably within consulting firms, financial institutions, private equity, or investment, with deep exposure to project finance, corporate finance, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
  • Proven ability to manage teams, lead workstreams, and oversee the delivery of complex infrastructure advisory engagements across sectors.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights and present them effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of contributing to business development initiatives, including proposal writing, client engagement, and shaping strategic opportunities.
  • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills, with an inquisitive mindset and logical thinking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent collaboration and adaptability abilities.
  • High attention to detail and a meticulous work style.
  • Thrives under demanding timelines while maintaining quality and professionalism.
  • A high-performing, coachable team player who prioritizes continuous development, puts clients first, and exemplifies a values-driven mindset.
