Key Responsibilities
As part of the engagement team, you will utilize your expertise in cross-border mobility—including tax, immigration, and social security—to deliver employment-related compliance and consulting services to multinational clients.
We are seeking candidates who are ready to take on challenging roles and demonstrate the qualifications and skills required for the responsibilities outlined below:
- Lead and manage client engagements, including planning for compliance season, overseeing tax compliance deliverables, managing risks, and handling account management.
- Stay current with important technical updates and proactively suggest solutions to address emerging tax compliance issues for employers and expatriates.
- Research and consultation on various tax matters. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive tax advisory reports and related client deliverables.
- Conduct research and prepare materials for advisory projects focused on employment tax planning.
- Address and resolve employer and expatriate concerns by offering timely guidance on tax compliance and advisory topics. Exhibit strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Manage multiple projects and assignments while ensuring service delivery meets agreed standards.
- Guide and support team members to foster development and motivation within the engagement team.
- Assist in financial performance management by monitoring billing and collections.
- Participate in public speaking engagements, including internal training sessions and client seminars or events.
- Lead initiatives related to technology, business development, and talent management.
- Perform additional support tasks as required by the team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or business related field. Candidates with recognized professional certification such as ACCA will also be considered.
- Possess at least 4 - 6 years’ experience in handling personal income tax, preferably gained from other major accounting firms or other related organizations.
- Excellent verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- A team player and versatile to work with people of diverse background and experience.
- Mature in handling client issues and possess good interpersonal skill.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize and organize workload.
