Work you’ll do:

• Core Development: Design, write, and maintain clean, reusable, and secure .NET code in alignment with modern .NET 8 standards and best practices.
• Application Modernization: Execute code-level refactoring and dependency updates required to upgrade applications to the .NET 8 framework.
• Testing & Optimization: Perform comprehensive unit testing, identify performance bottlenecks, and debug issues to ensure application responsiveness and quality.
• SA & Team Collaboration: Collaborate with System Analysts and the Senior Tech Lead to translate technical designs into functional software modules.
• Deployment Support: Assist with deployment packaging, code integrations, and troubleshooting post-production incidents.

Requirements:

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade .NET applications while supporting application modernization and .NET 8 upgrade initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
• Must have strong hands-on coding experience in C# and ASP.NET, with the ability to develop, enhance, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
• Proven experience supporting or participating in application upgrade and modernization projects, particularly migrating applications from older .NET Framework or .NET Core versions to .NET 8.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 8.
• Good understanding of backend technologies, including:
• ASP.NET Core
• RESTful APIs
• Microservices architecture
• Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
• SQL Server
• Dependency Injection
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participating in end-to-end software development and delivery.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, application architecture, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization within enterprise environments.
• Experience collaborating with solution architects, business analysts, QA teams, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to application modernization initiatives while ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• An appreciation of the consulting environment and willingness to travel (locally and internationally) when required.
