Work you’ll do:

• Architectural Guidance: Review, validate, and optimize proposed solution designs, focusing on optimal architectural patterns for the migration to .NET 8.
• Team Work Coordination: Coordinate tasks for System Analysts and Developers, and oversee the onboarding and ramp-up of technical resources.
• Timeline & Roadmap Alignment: Contribute directly to the overall project delivery timeline, planning technical roadmap activities and implementation strategies.
• Risk & Issue Management: Track and manage technical delivery risks, proactively identifying bottlenecks in the upgrade process and providing regular updates to the TDM.

Expected Work Results / Deliverables

• High-level application implementation roadmap and deployment strategy (focusing on .NET 8 upgrade paths)
• Validated Technical Designs & Code Review Logs

Requirements:

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-grade .NET applications while supporting application modernization and upgrade initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• The ideal candidate is a hands-on .NET developer with 6–9 years of software development experience, with strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack.
• Must have experience leading or playing a key technical role in application upgrade and modernization projects, ideally involving the migration of legacy applications to .NET 8.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 8.
• Extensive hands-on experience in .NET application architecture, design, and development, with a solid understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Strong technical expertise in backend development, including:
• ASP.NET Core
• RESTful APIs
• Microservices architecture
• Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
• SQL Server
• Dependency Injection
• Experience designing and delivering solutions on cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Exposure to cloud-native applications and serverless architectures is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, application performance optimization, troubleshooting, and issue resolution within enterprise environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with end-to-end software delivery responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality, scalable applications and contributing to application modernization initiatives.
• An appreciation of the consulting environment and willingness to travel (locally and internationally) when required.
