Revenue Management

Revenue Management (RevM) is a core operational function within Deloitte Southeast Asia, supporting all four business units. We are responsible for enabling the firm’s pursuit-to-cash lifecycle through engagement governance, operational coordination, and actionable financial reporting.

We are the first line of commercial stewardship, working alongside BU pursuit and delivery teams and leadership to ensure engagements are structured properly, priced responsibly, monitored rigorously, and closed accurately.

Work you will do

RevM supports the end-to-end engagement lifecycle across four structured phases. In parallel, we provide ongoing financial reporting and project controller support to maintain commercial discipline across the firm.

As RevM , Senior Specialist your key responsibilities include management of the following key activities.

Engagement Lifecycle Support:

  1. Opportunity Management
    1. Provide pricing estimation tools and scenario simulations for deal modeling.
    2. Guide pursuit teams on approval thresholds, discount limits, and WinC callouts
  2. Code Creation and Validation
    1. Support validation and generation of engagement codes once deals are confirmed.
    2. Ensure all required documentation is complete, including signed SoWs and rate approvals.
    3. Prevent downstream issues by ensuring the correct setup from the start.
  3. Engagement Management
    1. Track and manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for active engagements.
    2. Drive timely billing and collections through periodic reviews.
    3. Support forecasting cadence and manage financial exposures.
  4. Engagement Closure
    1. Oversee final financial reconciliations including write-ups, write-downs, and provisioning.
    2. Ensure complete closure of dormant or completed engagements with zero balances.
    3. Facilitate proper recognition of remaining revenue and costs.

Revenue Management provides leadership and engagement teams with a suite of structured financial reports to support oversight, decision-making, and accountability. These reports offer timely, accurate visibility into sales performance, revenue trends, project health, and cashflow.

  1. Top Opportunity Management Report: Highlights the most significant active pursuits by sector, industry, size, estimated decision date, probability of success, etc.
  2. Sales Reporting: Tracks declared sales against targets by BU, service line, and industry, supporting sales pacing.
  3. WIP and AR Reporting: Monitors working capital exposure, identifying delayed billing, or aging collection issues.
  4. RPH and RR Reporting: Measures revenue per hour and current run rate to assess pricing realization and productivity.
  5. Revenue Reporting: Provides a monthly view of revenue performance including recognized and unrecognized revenue.
  6. Performance Reporting: Integrates financial and operational data to assess engagement health across the portfolio.
