Join Our BPS Corporate Secretarial Services Team at Deloitte Singapore
Join our BPS Corporate Secretarial Services team and work alongside industry specialists dedicated to helping businesses thrive in Singapore and Southeast Asia. We support clients with their corporate governance, compliance, and operational needs, offering tailored solutions in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape. We are looking for a talented Corporate Secretarial professional to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and act as a confidante and resource to the Board and Senior Management, providing advice and counsel on board responsibilities and logistics. You will ensure that all records and minutes of Board actions accurately reflect the proper exercise as required by law.
Work you’ll do
- Manage a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, building strong professional relationships.
- Advise Boards and Senior Management on corporate governance practices and compliance matters.
- Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Attend board and committee meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes, and coordinate statutory documents and filings.
- Oversee credit control and billing for your portfolio, collaborating with Finance.
- Support business development efforts with prospective clients and fee proposals.
- Maintain clear client communications and follow up on commitments to ensure satisfaction.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance processes and client service within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements
- Degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or a related field (ICSA/CSIS/CGI qualification preferred, or in progress).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in professional firms providing Corporate Secretarial services.
- Experience providing corporate secretarial support to listed companies is ideal.
- Minimum 2 years of people management or team leaership experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Singapore Companies Act, ACRA regulations, SGX Listing rules, and MAS filing requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in minute-taking, drafting board papers, resolutions, and disclosures.
- Excellent client service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous, organized, proactive, and able to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience is an advantage.
