Join a dynamic, high-performing team of tax advisors, accountants, lawyers, and economists - with expertise gained from top professional practices and in-house roles both in Singapore and globally. Your Impact as Director

• Build and deepen long-term client relationships, cultivating new opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented team, supporting their technical and operational development.
• Oversee and deliver complex tax advisory and compliance projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and successful client engagements.
• Advise clients on tax research, technical matters, and lead workstreams on M&A transactions (due diligence, structuring, SPA support).
• Collaborate closely with partners, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Monitor and anticipate the latest developments in the financial services sector, shaping new service offerings and market strategies.
• Represent Deloitte as a trusted tax advisor and thought leader, making a visible impact on the industry.

What We’re Looking For / Requirements

• At least 12 years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a Big Four, international accounting firm, law firm, or financial institution. Experience in both compliance and advisory is preferred.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or another business-related field.
• CPA or CA certification strongly preferred; SCTP accreditation is an added advantage.
• Deep expertise in one or more financial services subsectors: banking, capital markets, insurance, investment management, real estate, digital assets, or M&A tax.
• Proven leadership and client engagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple large projects and portfolios simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen, commercial awareness, and sound judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and delegate to junior team members, building high-performing teams.
• Adaptability to change and a proactive approach to business and personal development.
