About Deloitte’s Financial Services Business Tax Team

Join a dynamic, high-performing group of tax advisors, accountants, lawyers, and economists with broad experience from top professional practices and in-house roles, both in Singapore and globally. The Opportunity / Work you’ll do

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will:

• Lead a portfolio of corporate and international clients, delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance services.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships, offering practical solutions to complex issues and anticipating their needs.
• Collaborate with partners, directors, and subject matter experts to manage and grow the business tax financial services department.
• Mentor, train, and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performing and inclusive team culture.
• Lead and contribute to business development initiatives, including winning new client engagements and developing innovative tax solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of industry, tax, and regulatory developments, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
• Take a proactive role in managing, planning, and executing projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

What We’re Looking For / Requirements

• At least 8 years of corporate tax experience, ideally with an international accounting firm, law firm, or financial institution, with a mix of compliance and advisory work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field, with a professional qualification recognised by ISCA (CPA, ACCA, or similar). SCTP accreditation is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with a track record of managing people and delivering high-quality work.
• Deep expertise in one or more financial services sub-sectors such as banking, capital markets, investment management, real estate, insurance, or digital assets.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and complex portfolios, deliver exceptional service, and drive business development.
• A collaborative, proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning and developing others
