What you will do  

As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Director at Deloitte, you will lead the SOC team in providing a secure environment through continuous management and coordination of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. You will play a strategic and critical leadership role in overseeing security operations, identifying and mitigating cyber risks, and ensuring robust security measures are in place to protect our clients.

Leadership & Solution Architecture

• Lead Cyber Operate solutioning for strategic pursuits, managed security services opportunities, and cyber transformation engagements.
• Engage client executives, CISOs, security leaders, and technology stakeholders to understand business objectives, cyber risks, and operational challenges.
• Design differentiated Cyber Operate solutions across Managed SOC, MDR, Identity Security, Cloud Security, Threat Management, and Cyber Resilience services.
• Develop future-state operating models encompassing people, process, technology, governance, service delivery, and financial constructs.
• Architect services utilizing platforms such as Google SecOps, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM, Splunk Enterprise Security, CrowdStrike Falcon, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, CyberArk, and ServiceNow SecOps.
• Lead workshops, assessments, discovery sessions, and executive solution reviews.

Deal Shaping & Commercial Leadership

• Lead the technical and solution workstream for large and complex cyber pursuits.
• Define end-to-end service delivery models, transition approaches, governance structures, and operating procedures.
• Develop pricing models, effort estimates, staffing strategies, and commercial assumptions.
• Support proposal development, executive presentations, client orals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with pursuit teams to develop compelling value propositions and differentiators that improve win probability.

Cyber Operate Solution Design

Provide architecture and solution leadership across:

• Security Operations & Threat Detection: Security Operations Centers (SOC), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence, Security Automation and Orchestration

• Identity Security: Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), Zero Trust Identity Programs

• Cloud Security Operations: Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud Detection and Response (CDR), Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), Multi-cloud Security Operations
• Cyber Risk & Exposure Management: Vulnerability Management, Exposure Management, Security Compliance Monitoring, Data Security and Data Protection

Practice Development & Go-To-Market

• Develop reusable Cyber Operate offerings, accelerators, reference architectures, and managed service frameworks.
• Support alliance relationships with technology partners including Google Cloud Security, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, SailPoint, CyberArk, CrowdStrike, ServiceNow, and Wiz.
• Contribute to thought leadership, market propositions, and industry-specific Cyber Operate solutions.
• Drive innovation through AI-enabled Security Operations, SecOps modernization, Security Copilot capabilities, and automation-led operating models.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor solution architects, managers, and cyber specialists.
• Build high-performing pursuit teams across cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, data, and technology domains.
• Provide strategic guidance to regional and global teams during complex pursuits.
• Support capability development, recruitment, and succession planning initiatives.
• Contribute directly to Cyber Operate growth, bookings, revenue targets, and market expansion.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, managed security services, or security operations.
• 5+ years leading presales solution architecture, cyber transformation, or managed services pursuits.
• Proven experience shaping and winning multi-year managed security services and Cyber Operate engagements.
• Strong understanding of Cyber Defense, Security Operations, Identity Security, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, and Managed Services delivery models
• Preferred Technical Experience:
• Security Operations (eg Google SecOps, CrowdStrike Falcon, Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM etc)
• Identity Security (eg Sailpoint IIQ, Saviynt, Entra ID, CyberArk)
• Cloud Security (eg Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Defender for Cloud, AWS Security Services, Google Cloud Security)
• Service Management & Automation (eg ServiceNow Security Operations/ IRM, Torq etc).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly preferred.
