Work you'll do:

This role requires the candidate to work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including startup program leads, cross-functional marketing teams, and internal partner alliances, as well as sales leadership to build strict strategic alignment. You will collaborate to conceptualize and build tailored portfolios of programs and initiatives, plot and track execution, monitor investments, and ensure delivery against India's regional startup acquisition and growth targets through the overall success of the Startup program.

The role relies on the ability of the candidate to manage complex stakeholder and vendor relationships, be adept at planning and execution of unconventional marketing experiences (e.g., F2F events, social / digital campaigns, virtual events, customer references), and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of building demand within the Indian startup landscape, paired with a commitment to flawless execution, zero tolerance for non-compliance, and the highest regard for credibility, corporate guidelines, and details.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a set of partners (e.g., GSI, RSI, ISV, or Tech Partners), VC firms and startup ecosystem enablers to help plan and execute partner-led and program-driven marketing activities, including:
  • Program Orchestration & Optimization : Orchestrate Google Cloud Startup programs in Singapore, optimizing and iterating based on performance.
  • Strategic Sales Alignment : Partner with Startup regional sales leadership team as well as local field team on aligning marketing strategies with business plans.
  • Data-Driven Target Delivery : Deliver on targets and identify opportunities for future programs through data analysis.
  • Full-Lifecycle Demand Generation : Execute always on demand gen programs aimed at acquiring startups and  digital natives using lifecycle programs in retaining and progressing them.
  • VC & Incubator Co-Marketing : Build partnerships with VC / PE firms and StartUp Incubators in driving co-marketing initiatives. 
    Media-Led Scale Advocacy : Execute media led advocacy programs at scale to communicate the value of Google Cloud to startups across Singapore.
  • Cross-Channel Integration & ARR Impact : Drive cross channel integrated programs across paid, owned earned media to engage startups, drive trials, build advocacy and contribute to ARR.
  • Customer Success Evangelization : Build and communicate customer wins  and drive evangelisation within the StartUp community. 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2-3 years of marketing experience in a technology environment directly supporting sales teams such as Field Marketing
  • Experience in startup marketing roles in B2B tech
  • Experience in sales stakeholder management 
  • Experience supporting VC and Incubator partnerships
  • Experience in StartUp Marketing
  • Ability to engage with sales stakeholders and conveying crisp business outcomes and narratives using data  
  • Experience in managing and delivering scaled cross channel integrated programs with clear goals and objectives
  • Core experience across SEM, Social media marketing, Content syndication and ABM
  • Expertise in storytelling with a data lens
  • Expertise in advanced level reporting and analytics like SQL
