Work you’ll do
Deloitte’s Financial Services industry group strives to support clients in addressing the strategic, operational, regulatory, and technological challenges shaping today’s industry. Deloitte’s global network of member firms engages with clients to refine their business models through innovative practices, improved processes, and enabling information technologies.
You will work alongside clients to help shape and implement solutions for "Heart of the Business" issues, from architecting the strategic transformation agenda through to driving business value through execution and implementation.
You will work across key segments within Wealth Management and Private Banking to shape and deliver transformation agendas for banking clients across Southeast Asia (SEA), with a focus on client experience, operating model redesign, digital enablement, process improvement, and automation. Typical engagements you will be expected to lead or support include:
• Leading front-office advisory and service transformation across Wealth Management and Private Banking segments
• Designing omnichannel customer journeys and experience design improvements across the client portal, onboarding, Relationship Manager tools, and assisted-service channels
• Leading operating model design and implementation across wealth and private banking, including workflow & process redesign, automation & AI opportunities, delivery governance.
• Business integration of digital and platform implementation initiatives, including CRM, Wealth Platform, workflow automation, AI-enabled insights
• Leading the assessment and transformation of wealth and Private Banking distribution and servicing models, including relationship manager productivity, advisory effectiveness, digital client engagement, branch or wealth centre performance, and assisted-service channels
You will exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, communicate your findings, conduct impact assessment, and change management. Finally, you will work independently and collaboratively leading a team.
You will support Deloitte and client’s business growth by:
a. Identifying client business requirements, strategic objectives, operational pain points, and opportunities to improve process efficiency, automate manual workflows, enhance onboarding, servicing, and relationship-manager effectiveness
b. Conducting market, competitor, customer and operational research to support Wealth and Private Banking client engagements, including market sizing, channel benchmarking, product proposition analysis, customer experience, digital capability assessment, and operating models
c. Leading the development of client pitch proposals, including storyline development, data analysis, opportunity sizing, delivery team structuring, project costing, and fee estimation
d. Using technology, human-centred, business led design, and innovative approaches to solve client, advisory, and servicing challenges across Wealth Management and Private Banking
e. Leading team problem solving efforts and offering ideation to address Wealth and Private Banking client challenges
f. Leading client workshops to assess current state, identifying pain points, manual handoffs, and automation opportunities, and define the basis for future-state design and rollout planning
g. Conducting research, data analysis, benchmarking, and report development to support client recommendations and business development
h. Maintaining responsibility for quality, completion, and accuracy of work products and client deliverables
i. Assessing operating models, organisational structures, regulatory compliance, and business/ operational processes to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, straight-through processing, and client experience across Financial Service businesses
j. Leading in proposal development, including storyline development, research, opportunity sizing, delivery approach, resourcing, project costing, and fee estimation
k. Actively expanding consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with Deloitte colleagues and clients.

Requirements
If you are someone with:
• Tertiary qualification in business management, finance, technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in the Consulting Industry and/or Financial Services industry, ideally supporting, Wealth Management, Private Banking, affluent banking, or high-net-worth client segments
• Deep and strategic understanding of Southeast Asian Private Banking and Wealth Management markets, including regulatory frameworks, competitive dynamics, client segment evolution (affluent, HNW, UHNW), and emerging technological and business trends, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable strategies and transformation agendas for senior stakeholders
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation programmes, including: Operating model design, process improvement, digital enablement, AI-enabled solutions, or automation initiatives within Financial Services, banking, Wealth Management, Private Banking, or FinTech
• Experience leading roles across areas such as:
o Digital transformation of a bank, Wealth Management business, Private Bank
o Front-office, sales, advisory, and service transformation, including relationship manager enablement, customer journeys, service blueprints, process redesign, and client experience improvement
o Distribution and servicing channel transformation, including Relationship Manager enablement, customer journeys service blueprints, process redesign, and client experience improvement
o Strategy Consulting to define Target Operating Models and transformation roadmaps that enable customer centricity, digitalisation, growth, efficiency, regulatory change, sustainability, and improved client outcomes
o Wealth and Private Banking operations transformation, including CRM, onboarding, servicing, portfolio construction, advisory tools, client lifecycle management, workflow automation, AI-enabled insights, and next-best-action capabilities
o Process improvement, cost reduction, automation, straight-through processing, and operational efficiency initiatives across onboarding, servicing, advisory support, compliance, and wealth operations
o Complex banking transformation programs across front office, operations, technology, risk, regulatory compliance, human capital, and change management
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating across multiple workstreams
• Solid waterfall and Agile delivery experience & certification (e.g. PMP. Prince2, Scrum, Kanban etc)
• Strong human-centered design thinking, logical structuring, analytical problem-solving and executive communication skills
• Tech fluency and the ability to advice business stakeholders on digital platforms, cloud solutions, data-enabled transformation, AI-enabled capabilities, and platform implementation
• Exposure to leading wealth platforms (Avaloq, Aladdin Wealth, Temenos Wealth or equivalent) preferred, though not required
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear actionable recommendations
