Work you’ll do
This role is part of the SEA Regional Capability Centre and is responsible for supporting multiple engagement teams across the region. In addition to delivering client-facing IT audit and assurance services, the role plays a key part in maintaining delivery quality, developing team capabilities, and driving continuous improvement across the delivery centre.
Responsibilities:
- Support Southeast Asia (SEA) engagement teams through the delivery centre model, collaborating across countries and service lines to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Assist in the execution of IT audit, risk, and compliance engagements covering IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), ERP systems, business processes, and cybersecurity controls.
- Perform control testing, document audit procedures, and prepare workpapers in accordance with Deloitte methodologies and professional standards.
- Identify technology and business risks, assess control effectiveness, and support the development of practical recommendations for improvement.
- Apply relevant frameworks and standards such as COSO, COBIT, and ISACA IT Assurance guidance in evaluating IT control environments.
- Work closely with engagement teams and stakeholders to address project requirements and support timely delivery of engagements.
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities within the delivery centre.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technology risks, industry developments, and regulatory requirements relevant to IT assurance.

Requirements
- Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Studies, Cyber Risks, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT audit, IT risk, internal controls, technology assurance, cybersecurity, or related areas.
- Basic understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), IT risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.
- Familiarity with IT governance and risk frameworks such as COSO, COBIT, and ISACA standards is advantageous.
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
- Progress towards professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with data analytics tools is an advantage.
